A denim shirt made in Japan with meticulous attention to detail.
This BEAMS PLUS button-down shirt is made in a weaving factory in Nishiwaki, Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan's leading shirt fabric producing areas. It uses classic rope-dyed denim fabric, a material that will fade beautifully with age.
The pattern is based on American-made button-down shirts produced in the 1960s, with narrow (3mm) lockstitch seams and 18 stitches per 3cm.
All processes are completed by skilled craftsmen in a Japanese factory. A "+" mark bar tack is added to the hem on both sides, a signature BEAMS PLUS accent.
