The first Alden X City Workshop special make up. This is our homage to The 555th Parachute Infantry Battalion, nicknamed the "Triple Nickels". It was the first all-Black parachute unit in the U.S. Army during World War II. Alden has a history of having made boots for the military in World War II, and a version of this pattern, referred to as a "Jumper Boot - A specialized Military Boot designed to protect paratroopers ankles" would have been the boot.
