This Crosscut is inspired by the classic Wrangler western shirt. These shirts, pretty much the quintessential western shirts, featured pearl snaps and a stonewashed denim body. Traditionally, denim westerns were quite soft and somewhat flimsy. We chose to use a 10oz Japanese denim with a deep indigo warp. We then stonewashed the shirt to soften the fabric and bring out the depth of the indigo. Even after the stonewash, the shirt still feels hefty.
